Calling Over - Blank Dogs, Seconds, 2007
Great song, I’d say one of Blank Dog’s poppiest songs, which I don’t mind at all. It actually gives me this…1950s-ish vibe, wish I were more versed in that time period so I could give a better explanation but that’ll have to do for now, hah.
It’s interesting to see Blank Dog’s musical progression from something like Poison Ivy to Leaving the Light On and onward to anything from The Fields and now the pop songs on Seconds.
[I was going to blog about Blank Dogs’ Seconds but I remembered Blank Dogs doesn’t like having his music posted online by other peoples so… oh well.]
In its place is Thomas Function’s “Winter Grey”. Not as much to say since I’m all out from that Blank Dogs mentioned but yeah. Enjoy. It’s a good song!
